The City of Angels is the place where dreams and championships often meet. However, this time a disappointment tornado envelops the Dodger fans. However, this was not to last, for the Los Angeles Dodgers were eliminated from playoff contention, losing to the Arizona Diamondbacks in a three-game sweep in the National League Division Series, finally succumbing with a 4-2 defeat.
The palpable disappointment was further fueled by harsh comments from none other than Los Angeles Lakers legend and Dodgers owner, Magic Johnson. As an outspoken team owner and a man with a storied career in basketball, Johnson’s presence has attracted both praise and scorn.
