Having LeBron James as your “uncle” means access to iconic memorabilia (among other perks, of course!). A few months back, Kiyan gifted his friend and streamer Tylil—a massive LeBron fan—a signed jersey from “uncle LeBron”. But things took a wild turn when Carmelo Anthony decided he wanted it back. Tylil, not thrilled by the request, had an explosive reaction that left everyone stunned. That’s when Kai Cenat, a popular streamer and mutual friend, stepped in with words of wisdom and a game-changing promise straight from Melo himself.

After the chaos erupted, Tylil’s frustration hit a boiling point. That’s when Kai called him to calm things down. “This real life, bro. It’s just not the way it is,” Cenat told him, trying to bring some perspective.

Tylil, though, wasn’t ready to let it go, shooting back, “The way you do it.” Kai, staying cool, doubled down. “No, just let Melo… let him get you another one, bro. He really said that. He gon’ keep his word.”

Cenat didn’t stop there. He reminded Tylil of the bigger picture. “And when he keep his word, and the day comes when you get your new one, that shit gon’ be even fire,” he promised, emphasizing that the gesture would feel even more special.

Tylil, while acknowledging Kai’s point, couldn’t let his feelings about the situation slide. “Kiyan, you a real ni**a, bro,” he said, clearly torn between gratitude and frustration. The weight of Kiyan’s initial gesture—and its sudden reversal—hit Tylil hard.

So, why did Kiyan gift it in the first place? He cleared the air on the Overtime podcast. “Tylo definitely one of my mans. I gave Tylo a LeBron jersey because people who watch Tylo, they know that LeBron is like his die-hard favorite player.” While thoughtful, Kiyan didn’t see his dad swooping in to reclaim the jersey coming. It was a twist no one could have expected.

Melo taking back LeBron gift sparks outrage

Last September, Kiyan Anthony went above and beyond for his friend Tylil, a streamer and die-hard LeBron fan. He surprised him with a signed jersey from none other than “Uncle Bron.” You’d think this thoughtful gift would lock in their bond, right? Not quite. The jersey, as it turned out, meant more to Carmelo Anthony than Kiyan realized. When Melo learned about the gift, he wasn’t too thrilled and decided he wanted it back. What started as a friendly gesture quickly snowballed into a surprisingly awkward ordeal.

Then things got messy. A video surfaced showing Kiyan trying to reclaim the jersey, and Tylil’s response was far from calm. The clip revealed Tylil flipping out—shouting at the top of his lungs, tearing up his own sofa, and even destroying parts of his streaming setup in frustration. It was chaos, to say the least.

For Kiyan, though, moments like this aren’t entirely unfamiliar. As someone who calls LeBron James his uncle,” cool gifts are almost a regular thing. In a 2022 interview with Overtime, Kiyan casually mentioned getting shoes from the 4x champion without a problem. “Yeah, he just sent me a few,” he said.

But this time, the stakes were different. Sentimental value can complicate even the simplest gifts, proving that not everything comes easy—even when you’re this connected.
