Interestingly, the Celtics legend challenged Tatum to a rather gruesome task.

Now that the future is in Tatum’s hands, one might wonder if he can emulate the Truth. Recently, Pierce and Tatum were spotted together. It was then that the 45-year-old Hall of Famer challenged JT to a physical task from the past.
Pierce challenged the Celtics star to climb the rope in their gym all the way to the top. However, Tatum had other plans.
The Eastern Conference finalist stood up to the task in a spectacular fashion. Despite Paul claiming, “He ain’t got it. He ain’t got this,” Jayson claimed his due as he did what was asked of him. Tatum reposted the clip on his handle and wrote, “Need my bread.”?
