The Colorado Buffaloes are set to kick-start their season this Saturday. However, their primary concern is the ill health of head coach Deion Sanders. With toes amputated from his foot, the NFL legend is having a tough time even walking. Anyhow, the 56-year-old has found a solution for it which might help him run back onto the field to coach his team this Saturday. While many stay concerned about Sander’s health, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal decided to remind the people what he is capable of.

Sharing a highlight from Sander’s impeccable career nearly forty years ago, Shaq has yet again shown his support for the veteran coach.

While current players boast about having the ‘dog mentality’, Sanders is actually the one who started it. The 2x Super Bowl champion has the same mentality as a coach, too. However, health issues have kept him off the field for a good number of games.

Anyhow, it’s the return of ‘Prime Time’ now! In order to be there for his team in the opening game, Sanders revealed that he would be taking a pain-killing injection to walk out of the stands like any other head coach.

Previously, the 56-year-old was seen riding a scooter after his toes were amputated. Now he is ready to take an injection. Though this looks concerning, Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal believes this is nothing new for Sanders.

A video from Instagram revealed an impressive feat by the Colorado coach. At 22 years of age, Sanders not only represented the NFL but also MLB. During his tenure with the New York Yankees and the Atlanta Falcons in 1989, Sanders stunned the world by scoring a home run and a touchdown in the same week in a span of five days.

Sanders indeed is one among a few in the league with a strong mindset. However, the health issues are scary. While Sanders could have saved his toes by resting for two to three weeks, he decided to amputate it to not miss games.
