Taylor Swift?s star keeps burning as her Eras Tour has been filling stadium after stadium across the country. The 12x Grammy winner has rocked the stages at NFL?s most legendary grounds including MetLife Stadium and Lincoln Financial Field, taking fans on a musical journey. There was recently a twist though and Taylor Swift is now in the spotlight not performing, but rather wearing a fan?s jersey in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium.
It was an apartment complex adjacent to the one where Donna Kelce, mother of All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, resides. While attention should have been directed to Swift?s alleged courtship with Chiefs stud Travis Kelce, or the fact that Travis? mom was there, something odd caught fans off guard from the celebration.
Is That Dennis Rodman?

Twitter acts as Rome?s colosseum in today?s era of the sports and entertainment world. With Taylor Swift watching from her suite as the Kansas City Chiefs took down the Chicago Bears on Sunday, the fans and the pundits were all out in force making their opinions known on social media. One of those guys was Albert Breer ? the veteran writer at Sports Illustrated?s The MMQB.
Instead, Breer chose a different tactic ? one that would soon be the subject of much discussion ? by talking about Swift?s alleged dalliances with Travis Kelce instead, like her date with Travis?s mom Donna at the suite. Breer is an inquisitive soul, and his tweet was such that made people scratching their heads on Twitter go crazy.
“I believe that is Dennis Rodman with Taylor Swift right next to him,” Breer asked, with three monocle emojis and a clip showing Swift react to a Kelce touchdown grab in the Skybox. From afar, the man sitting next to Swift was clearly not Dennis Rodman. He was not just much younger but also noticeably shorter (6’2”) than the ex-NBA big man.
Some may say that Breer didn?t do it intentionally ? that he simply misidentified a face in the sea of chaos that comes with NFL games. But how he phrased his question allowed room for ambiguity. The fact that he framed it as a question expressed uncertainty, and putting it on a public platform was an unintended twist to an ongoing saga.
Fans react as ?Is that Dennis Rodman sitting next to Taylor Swift??
The moment Albert Breer’s Dennis Rodman delusion tweet went live on social media, fans from all corners of the internet seized the opportunity to chime in with their eclectic mix of reactions.

Even if, perhaps for an instant, Breer truly thought the guy standing next to Swift was Dennis Rodman, the larger problem of racist stereotyping is what such incidents reveal. We realize just how easily snap judgments and assumptions can reinforce the insidious idea that all people of a certain race look similar.
