When your last name is Jordan, every move is under the public lens. Following his high-profile split with Larsa Pippen, Marcus Jordan has found it hard to stay away from the news. Despite the recent upheaval, Marcus can always rely on one constant in his life- the support from his mother, Juanita Vanoy.
It’s no secret that the mother-son duo are fond of each other. This was evident when Marcus celebrated Vanoy’s birthday back in June with a special dinner and a bottle of her favorite wine the Unico Vega Sicilia, Ribera del Duero 2012. Carrying on their strong bond, Vanoy was there to congratulate her son on his latest venture.
Despite the paparazzi’s attention surrounding Jordan Jr.’s personal life, another story deserves attention. Marcus Jordan, who has been making a name outside of his father’s enormous shadow, entered a significant milestone in his career. His involvement with a tech startup WaitTime, aimed to solve crowd management issues with the help of real-time data analytics, has begun to gain international attention after nine years of work.

“Launching a tech startup is daunting—9 out of 10 fail within two years,” as he shared on his Instagram last week. The caption further read, “After 9 relentless years of hard work and perseverance, the WaitTime story is now being heard around the world.” This achievement didn’t go unnoticed by his mother, Juanita Jordan.
In response to his post, she penned a short yet meaningful message. “Congratulations love you, son,” mentioned the proud mother, via her Insta story on August 12, sharing the original post from his son. Juanita Vanoy has always made sure to support her children by celebrating their personal and professional milestones and this occasion was no different.
For Marcus Jordan, WaitTime’s success adds to his growing stature as an entrepreneur. On May 23 this year, Trophy Room, a high-end sneaker store offering exclusive Michael Jordan sneakers, founded by Marcus, celebrated its 8th anniversary. It took some time for him to convince his father but he hit the ground running with Trophy Room.
The development with WaitTime comes to light following the recent scandal involving the son of His Airness as he vacations with his new rumored girlfriend, Ashley Stevenson in France, following his split with Larsa Pippen.
