“Run your own race young 👑.” Dwyane Wade once commented on his son’s journey, even when the NBA dream seemed a long way away. The latest Pelicans signing even replied to the appreciation message on his story “🙏🏼.”

Unlike Zaire Wade, who traveled the world after his first season, Brandon Boston Jr. continued in the developmental league. As he signed a 3-year, $4,324,872 contract with the LA Clippers, after the draft. Just like his former teammate Bronny James, even Boston Jr. was a second-round pick. First, he was selected by the Grizzlies as the 51st pick but was later traded to the Clippers via the Pelicans, and he did not disappoint in the G league.
