Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach are part of the top 6 at the DWTS. The last episode aired two weeks ago, and the show returns with a landmark 500th episode. But before we dive into the details of the show, DH12 and his partner made an appearance on another show. No, it isn’t another reality show, but the dancing duo went ahead on L.A.’s very own KTLA 5 News.
“Rise & Shine everyone ! I always get asked “ How’s the Weather up there” so let me break it down for you🕺🏾😂 Right now it’s a wonderful & beautiful day 😁☀️❤️ We are expecting a lot of sunshine 🌞 a lot of smiles 😁 & a whole lot of blessings 🙏🏾❤️ & that’s your weather report brought to you by Dwight Howard 😂💪🏾,” wrote Dwight Howard. The former NBA champion was on a news channel speaking about the weather. He did break the news with some dance moves.
“Did you enjoy my forecast today on @ktla5news ? Comment 😂☀️ if you want to see more of me reporting the weather live,” the post also read. Although Daniella Karagach was not part of the video, she was present at the studio. Karagach took to her Instagram stories and shared, “Press ootd this morning with @ktla5news 💜 #ktla #dwts #doubled.” So before her partner starts being a regular on the news channel, let’s look at what’s in store for Tuesday’s DWTS episode.

With just two episodes remaining, the teams are anticipating the finale on November 26. To kick off the episode, Karagach will choreograph with her real-life partner, Pasha Pashkov. The reports also suggest that fan-favorite stars from past seasons would return to add to the nostalgia effect.

Dwight Howard would perform an Argentine Tango inspired by James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess’ performance in Season 23 to ‘Santa Maria (Del Buen Ayre)’ by Gotan Project. Hopefully, they keep their momentum from the previous episode, but that looks tough. After all, the journey has seen many lows, and for 3x DPOY, he would want to continue.

When he came on the show, he wanted to show his children that no challenge can weigh somebody down. During the week 3 performance, he admitted that he forgot his steps and continued to spin away. Previously, during the ‘Soul Train Night’ special episode, judge Carrie Ann gave a critical assessment. The audience in the crowd started booing the decision, but she stayed firm with the “hard to watch” comment.

She also added, “I know you can do better than that, and you’re trying to trick us with all the expressions.” And during the last episode, Dwight Howard and Daniella’s performance was just what the judge ordered. Ann gave the duo their first 10 of the season, and the other judges scored 9 each to take their total to 28/30.
Derek Hough gave a standing ovation and said, “downright creepy in the best possible way.” Bruno Tonioli also admired DH12 for being focused and determined throughout the act, which he hadn’t seen before. With five more couples left to beat, Dwight Howard would relish the challenge and hope to become the second NBA player after Iman Shumpert, to win the DWTS, who was also the partner of Daniella Karagach.
