“Unless… I wouldn’t change my last name,” Larsa Pippen said. The RHOM actress indeed had plans to change her last name but that had a condition. Well, this was all the way back when she was dating Marcus Jordan. The two even had plans to get married, saying it was in the “works.” However, the two broke up a year ago.  Almost four years after her divorce from Scottie Pippen, the ex-Warriors star made a huge demand.

Both Larsa and Marcus are making headlines for different reasons. One for her rumored relationship with Jeff Coby, the other for a DUI case. Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas feels that she has been a bad influence on Michael Jordan’s son. He even seemingly accused the Real Housewives of Miami star of ruining two big names. Speaking on that, he urged her to stay away from the James family.

Furthermore, he went on to make a bold demand from the star. “As soon as I seen him in Paris and they caught him the first time, I didn’t even say Marcus. I said, ‘That damn Pippen.’ This is crazy, like I can’t even say Pippen anymore. That Larsa—hey, can you please drop the good Pippen name?” he demand during a sit down with DJ Vlad 

Earlier, there was a huge uproar after the details of Larsa and Scottie’s divorce settlement were revealed. She reportedly received half of Scottie’s NBA earnings through his 401(k) retirement account. In the same show, Arenas further added, “You’re just putting dirt on the Pippen name at this f—— point. The father’s clean, the f—— kids are amazing… Whatever blood you have in that Pippen—that not the Pippen but the Larsson blood gene—can you drop the Pippen name?”

Well, it’s unlikely that Larsa will change her name at this point. And furthermore, she has a condition. Earlier, in the interview with Pablo Torre Finds Out Everything, the actress shared that she wouldn’t change her name unless she got married. And since it was during the time she was dating Marcus, it might be safe to assume they were thinking of Jordan.

Even as Gilbert Arenas voices his strong opinions about Larsa Pippen’s continued use of her ex-husband’s name, a completely different dynamic is unfolding between their daughters, showcasing a friendship that transcends any parental friction.

The two girls, who have just a one-year age gap, are good friends. Just a few days ago, Arenas’ daughter, Hamiley, celebrated her 15th birthday party. She shared numerous snaps and snippets on her IG story along with the heartwarming wishes she received from her friends. One of the first to wish the basketball player was Sophia.

She shared their cute mirror selfie where both posed with peace signs. Another also was a selfie. “happy birthday @hamileyarenas0 i love you babyyyy,” the model wrote. To show her love, the 15-year-old reshared the post on her IG story and captioned, “THANKKK YOUUU I LOVE YOU SO MUCH SOPHHH.”

Hamiley is already one of California’s top young basketball prospects. After a strong season at Notre Dame, she has been named an All-State nominee. On the other hand, the Chicago Bulls legend’s daughter Sophia has continued her modeling gigs. Last year, Larsa proudly boasted about how Sophia had a deal with Oscar de la Renta and another with Fashion Nova. 

Despite having different interests, the two are seemingly good friends.  And these two are clearly not letting their parents’ feuding affect their friendship!
