“This one of the wildest link-ups that could’ve ever been established.” The fans clearly lost their minds when they spotted Mike Tyson and Dennis Rodman together back in August 2024. The image was shared by Courtside Buzzing and featured other stars like Metta World Peace and Zab Judah. And it seems the popularity that the post gained gave some creative heads an idea for an interesting pairing.
And here we are, witnessing the former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman and Boxing champ Mike Tyson collaborate on a project. “Dennis Rodman & Mike Tyson Visit The World’s Largest Mercedes Collection,” read the title of the YouTube video shared by Patina Collective recently.
In early 2025, they teamed up for a splashy Super Bowl commercial, filmed among luxury cars for a big-name brand, as shown in that Patina Collective video. It’s pure Rodman and Tyson—bold, flashy, and impossible to ignore, setting the vibe for their next big move.

It’s clear from the video that the two stars were working on a commercial. Although the video description mentioned it to be a “Super Bowl commercial shoot”, fans will have to wait for the release for further details, it seems. But if you want to catch Mike Tyson and Dennis Rodman together in the same space, you have to be in Las Vegas this week.

An article by Wrestling Headlines reported in February this year that Dennis Rodman and Mike Tyson will be coming to WrestleCon 2025. Not many might know this, but Rodman has himself had a notable yet short-lived career in professional wrestling. His most famous stint? Primarily with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from 1997 to 2000.
What’s your perspective on:
Is the Rodman-Tyson partnership the most exciting thing to happen in sports this year?
Have an interesting take?
Rodman ran with Hulk Hogan and the New World Order (nWo), throwing down at events like Bash at the Beach. That wild energy made him a fan favorite. And Tyson? He’s a WWE Hall of Famer, cemented by his 1998 role as special enforcer at WrestleMania XIV for Shawn Michaels versus ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin—a moment that lit up the Attitude Era.
And now Rodman‘s set to step back into the somewhat familiar territory as a guest of honor, it seems, along with Mike.
This isn’t them lacing up boots for a match—it’s a ‘comeback’ to wrestling’s big stage, signing autographs, posing for pics, and maybe stirring up some classic chaos.

The time when Dennis Rodman and Mike Tyson collaborated for a $4 billion brand
When you think of legendary athletes joining forces, it’s usually for a game, a charity event, or maybe a podcast. But back in 2013, a $4 billion brand had something else in mind—something a lot more unexpected. Foot Locker brought together icons from across the sports world to roll out their Week Of Greatness Sale, and they didn’t hold back on the star power or the humor.
Picture this: Kyrie Irving just lounging with his crew by a basketball court. Pretty normal start, right? But then, suddenly, we’re thrown into one of the most infamous moments in boxing history—with a twist. Mike Tyson shows up at Evander Holyfield’s front door holding something he’s had for decades. “It’s your ear,” Tyson says, handing it over like it’s no big deal. Holyfield’s response? A calm, “I hear.” And just when you think it can’t get more bizarre, Tyson casually drops, “I kept that in formaldehyde.”

And then comes Dennis Rodman, never one to stay out of the spotlight. The commercial captures him asking for a one-way ticket to North Korea—yes, you read that right. The airport hostess turns to the crowd and announces, “One way! He said one way,” prompting an eruption of applause. Someone in the terminal even shouts, “He’s never coming back.” Hilarious, considering the commercial came after Dennis Rodman had faced some backlash for his visit to North Korea and his befriending of Kim Jong-un.
Now that’s what you call marketing with flair. It’s clear that putting together legends, even from different fields, is a recipe for success. Now, it’s to be seen if Mike and The Worm can cook at the upcoming WrestleCon.
