Be it through his rhymes or his speech, Rick Ross is full of wisdom  that will stay etched in memory. One of his advice to “young hustlers” has caught the eye of Shaquille O’Neal. The Los Angeles Lakers legend embodies the advice his way too which proves it’s tried and tested.

He shared a post on his Instagram Stories of a clip of Ross sharing a lesson on how to be successful. “As a young hustler, as a CEO, as a boss, what’s your biggest enemy, ‘Fast Money.'” He further says, “Anybody presents you fast money, first thing that you say is ‘why is he doing it for me, a stranger?’

“Nah, ain’t no skipping the line! When it come to getting money, true success, hard work, you can’t skip to the front of the line, never! Anytime they doing that it won’t work, trust me!”

‘Da Boss’ and ‘Big Diesel’ would testify that no get-rich-quick scheme can substitute hard work. Just look at them.

William Roberts debuted as Rick Ross in 2006 with “Hustlin'”. He was an outstanding football player who went to college on an athletic scholarship, had other jobs, and turned into a multi-platinum-selling artist nominated for nine Grammy Awards. The hitmaker established his own label that signed the likes of French Montana and Meek Mill, entered the fast food business, and ran other successful ventures.

It’s parallel to Shaquille O’Neal’s career who made his debut as a rapper at the peak of his NBA era. O’Neal would become a multi-faceted entertainer who also runs many profitable ventures. He’s been ‘hustling’ since retiring too, dropping albums and performing as ‘DJ Diesel.’

Given their intersecting careers and shared philosophy on hard work, it’s no surprise they’re neighbors in an affluent neighborhood.
