Dwyane Wade is making the headlines yet again. After retiring from the NBA in 2019, the Miami Heat legend has entirely focused on his kids. Post his NBA career ended, Dwyane Wade wasted no time making up for lost time with his children. 

The Flash was shunned for his delusion of being a bad father by his 16 YO daughter Zaya who later bagged a massive modeling contract. Wade was full of pride to see Zaya bag a collaboration with a $1,440,000,000 company. 

This shows that with a line of talented members in the family, the Wade family cannot stop being in the headlines. 

Zaya’s triumph over challenges: A rising star

Talent runs in Dwyane Wade’s family. Wade, the talented basketball player and a Hall of Famer, is a father to four children. Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union are a power couple. The Flash guides his son, Zaire, on his basketball journey, while Gabrielle is a super mom to Zaya, being an inspiration in the entertainment industry. 

Zaya, who is a model, has worked with Miu Miu, a company by the Italian fashion giant Prada. Recently the 16YO daughter of Wade bagged a massive modeling project in collaboration with the billion-dollar company Warby Parker. Zaya took it to Instagram to share this news with her 688k followers.

Zaya, while sharing her post, wrote.

Dwyane Wade could not hold back his emotions and commented a fire emoji to express how proud he was of his daughter.

Zaya’s journey to stardom has been difficult. However, despite the pressure because of the name, the 16YO has been a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry. 

Zaya’s impressive career growth has earned her widespread recognition. 

Struggles and reflection: Wade’s journey as a father

Dwyane Wade, the fierce competitor, and undisputed champion he is on the court, is the same person off of it. Wade had his share of struggles in his personal life as well. The Flash had difficulty watching his daughter fear him during her transition. 

In an interview, he opened up about why he felt like a failure to be a good dad and questioned his parenting style.

However, his 16YO daughter shunned Wade’s delusion in an interview with harpersbazaar.com,

“My dad is who truly inspires me the most. Kids always tend to look up to their parents, but not only did I idolize him growing up, but especially now, as I’m growing older and getting to know him and see him as a real person, I realize that he has played such an essential role in supporting me and the way that I choose to present myself to the world. He’s been so supportive and my biggest advocate.”

With Wade now no longer an active NBA player, he has all the time in the world to spend with his children, and we hope to see more wholesome interactions like this in the future.
