Shaq went through a roller coaster of emotions during his latest appearance with his son, Myles. At the beginning of the Complex interview, Shaquille O’Neal appreciated his eldest son for not falling into any trouble. By the end of the video, however, he definitely had to stutter hearing his son’s hot take about the Los Angeles Clippers. Shaq wanted to spank him but couldn’t because “it’s against the laws” and Myles even refused to listen to his mother, Shaunie Henderson, and was firm on his decision.
He even uploaded the part of the interview on his Instagram and once again showed the world his loyalty to the Los Angeles Lakers. When there was a question about the worst NBA player, Shaq unsurprisingly chose Rudy Gobert. But Myles chose the entire team of the Clippers. Hearing this, Shaunie disappointingly wrote, “Myles!!!!! 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️”
But the 27-year-old continued to not listen to any of his parents, “@iamshaunie idc.” The hilarious take even got a reaction from his younger sister, Amirah. She wrote in the comments section about Shaquille O’Neal’s failed attempt, “strike that from the tape 😂😂😂😂😂.” But what did Myles say to garner such reactions from his family?

After Shaq’s usual Rudy Gobert diss on being the worst player ended, Myles took over. “I think in true LA fashion, anybody that plays on the fu**ing Clippers. F**k the Clippers. I hate the Clippers so much. Anybody that plays for the Clippers, all of you, I hate you,” Myles emphatically stated.

Called “The Battle of LA,” Myles has his priority set not only because of his father and his Lakers career but also because of his GOAT. He has been a loyal supporter of LeBron James and even crowned him GOAT ahead of his father and Michael Jordan. He even continued to be a troll even in the comment sections of his own post. But how did Shaquille O’Neal deal with his son’s take?
Myles’ answer genuinely surprised Shaquille O’Neal

The 4x NBA champion was in visible disbelief and said, “Strike that from the tape.” Myles continued and even stated any player being associated with the Clippers franchise makes them the worst player. Shaq once again tried interjecting and said, “he’s drunk, he’s drunk.” His son couldn’t stop laughing at his father’s failed attempt to broker peace.
The 52-year-old seemed very apologetic about his son’s tirade. “He’s 27 and I can’t spank him ’cause it’s against the law. But we’re sorry Clippers,” said Shaq. But Myles continued laughing. It was a little surprising to see Shaq fight for the Clippers. After all, O’Neal made his name in the same city while playing for their rivals.

Despite valiant efforts from both his parents, Myles is unapologetic about his love and affiliation with the Lakers, like a true sports fan who is ready to go to war for his team, without paying heed to what their parents are saying.
