Shaquille O’Neal’s ex-wife Shaunie Henderson has been a happy soul ever since she tied the knot with famous American pastor Keion Henderson. The 49-year-old has shown her gratitude for this marriage on several occasions through her Instagram. Also at the same time, she has taken a few jabs at her previous marriage with Shaq. The recent one was quite strong, which fans believe to be hurtful towards the Los Angeles Lakers legend. Shaq even gave a cryptic reply to Shaunie’s comments, but the latter reiterated her point to clarify a few things. 

Shaunie shared about her new book ‘Undefeated: Changing the Rules and Winning On My Own Terms‘, which has now given her a role in life as an author. As per reports, the book is about her first marriage with Shaq, and how she doubted herself if she truly ever loved him. She said, “Looking back, I don’t know that I was ever really in love with the man, but I was in love with the idea of being married to the man I had a family with.“

Shaq had a cryptic reply on his Instagram, which said, “I understand…I wouldn’t have been in love with me neither. Wishing you all the best. All love, Shaq”. Many started to believe this book was only about her time with Shaq and how she doubted herself. But Shaunie made it clear with an update on her Instagram, “I shared MY journey and trust me this book could’ve taken a whole different angle but I would never“.

Shaunie believes she could have given another angle to the book, but her motive was to only share the journey during her first marriage, and after. The book delves deep into the struggles of the celebrity life, commitment, and love for each other. So this is nothing but a chapter from her life. 

Does Shaq have another cryptic reply for his ex-wife Shaunie? 

A few minutes after Shaunie shared the above post, Shaq hinted at another reply to her through his Instagram. He shared a reel of him suiting up for Inside the NBA. He wrote in the captions, “Even when they talk about you, make sure you look good“. Shaunie and Shaq have been sharing several messages like these through their social media. 

This has been going on for quite some time now. Now that Shaunie has taken up a new role as an author, we might see more of this side from the 49-year-old. Shaq, on the other hand, has expressed his remorse time and again, as mentioned above. Let’s see what the two have coming up next!
