Shaquille O’Neal is not used to losing. Recently, on his podcast show, the NBA legend lost $20,000 to a special guest after sharing a fan moment. However, he was about to face another odd challenge with a friend at work. Feeling a bit pressured after his first loss, the Lakers legend resorted to petty tricks to avoid losing again.

In a clip shared by hotfreestyle, the NBA legend was seen playing a game where he could earn money by successfully dunking a bottle into a trash can from a distance. Unfortunately, he failed in the first attempt. As hilarious as it sounds, the bottle grazed the trash can but fell near it instead of inside, which was quite shocking.

Many fans in the comments section seemed suspicious of the act, with some suggesting that though it was hilarious, it was an obvious attempt at a stunt. While we don’t know if that’s true, in the second attempt, O’Neal was clearly onto something.

Don’t believe us? O’Neal had just lost his wager money after his first attempt. Despite this, he suggested to his buddy that they put all the money on the line, including his own. It looked like he was about to make a bad decision and lose the challenge and his money. But that didn’t happen.

The bottle fell inside the trash can on his second attempt. “He lured him into thinking he was gonna miss again,” a suspicious but proud fan suggested with a laughter emoji. As seen in the video, Shaquille O’Neal quickly grabbed the money to celebrate.

For a man with such business brilliance, the Los Angeles Lakers legend easily lost $20,000 while having a fan moment. Recently, he had the famous and beloved actor and comedian Marlon Wayans on his show. However, it’s not Marlon, but there’s another Wayans family member who is Shaq’s favorite.

He promised to give $10,000 to Marlon if he could guess who it was. To Shaq’s surprise, the actor correctly guessed it to be Kim Wayans. “Where’s my $10,000? Where is my $10000? Oh, I’ve been wanting Shaq money for a long time…” Marlon excitedly claimed. Kim is also a renowned actress and Marlon’s sister. But that wasn’t enough to teach him a lesson.

Shaq then wagered another $10,000 to Marlon, challenging him to guess which scene featuring Kim was Shaq’s favorite. The actor wasn’t there to lose, as he correctly identified Shaq’s favorite scene from Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. With that, Shaq lost a total of $20,000.

Petty or not, something was indeed fishy about the latest game Shaq played to win. However, Shaq turns almost into a teacher when it comes to dishing out business advice.
