“LeBron, I love you” — some of Shaquille O’Neal’s first words after adding a new toy to his impressive car collection. If you have been following Shaq’s social media handles, you’d know the 4x NBA champ was referencing Effortless Motors in his address to Bron. The dealership has, by now, delivered multiple vehicles to O’Neal. And the latest addition is a customized van that in its original variant costs nearly $65,000.

“Another one, man. First class made back edition Mercedes Benz Sprinter just for Shaq,” the associate from Effortless Motors said in the IG video, revealing the car they are delivering this time. Impressed by the interiors and features, Shaq could not help but thank LeBron James. For those unaware, it’s because of the King that Shaquille O’Neal came in contact with Effortless Motors.

It all started when Effortless Motors claimed in June that LeBron bought a Bugatti from them. LeBron wasn’t having it and set the record straight on his Instagram Story, saying, “Stop the 🧢!! LIARS!! I don’t know y’all and I don’t even have that car. CLOUT CHASERS.” While LeBron was busy clearing up the confusion, Shaq caught wind of the dealership and decided to check them out. The result? A relationship that’s grown into more than just car purchases.

The Big Diesel bought two custom Cybertrucks initially. The first one, right after Bron vented his frustration, priced at a $100,000 and the second, was the first ever carbon fiber, wide-body Cybertruck. “I hate to say it. I got the cleanest Cybertruck in the country, thanks to effortless motors,” Shaq had said after the purchase in September.

Now, we see him exchange cars as gifts with Effortless Motors. While O’Neal presented them with a Dodge Charger Hellcat, the team reciprocated the gesture with “a full 360, 1 of 100 Waido Live Body Cybertruck. Custom-built…” And during their recent meetup as well, not only did Shaq buy the customized Sprinter Van, but also the customized Mercedes Benz S550, in which the dealership associate had arrived. This adds to Shaq’s about 30+ car collection but the emotions behind it may not all be as they seem.

Shaquille O’Neal stated he regrets his car purchases

O’Neal’s lavish spending tales have been legendary. He once dropped $1 million in under an hour after signing his first NBA contract. The purchase included a Mercedes-Benz for himself and matching ones for his family. Hearing such stories makes it easy to picture Shaq’s flashy lifestyle.

But his recent words on Robert Mtz’s Creativo podcast might just make you rethink. When asked what advice he’d give his younger self from a business standpoint, Shaq didn’t hold back. “Yeah save. Cause I’m a tell you, even that now I have 40 cars and I don’t know why. I don’t know why. And I got 5 houses I don’t know why,” he said. A reminder that even those who seem to have it all can second-guess their choices.

But let’s not forget that things are different now. With strategic business investments, Shaq’s net worth is only growing. And so is his love for customized cars, as evident from his Cybertrucks, followed by this latest Sprinter Van.
