‘TNT’ made a controversial decision in choosing the stars for the NBA opening poster.
It was pretty clear that Warriors-Suns and Nuggets-Lakers were the only two games for the season opener. Yet ‘TNT’ decided to snub Nikola Jokic out of the poster by adding Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics. One possible reason for this is that TNT wanted the poster to feature only American players. Whatever the reasoning, their star host Charles Barkley was not happy with the snub.
Let’s not forget the fact that Jokic and the Nuggets just won a championship. This bias from TNT has caught the attention of many. One of them was Barkley who ripped his own employer apart for this decision.
