How hard is it to please your 6-year-old kid? Well, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union found out during the family holidays. Kaavia has always been one of the biggest critics in the family. Even when the family decided to hit the North Fork beaches, the youngest showed no enthusiasm in a photo. But it seems that the parents finally found a way to keep Kaavia in holiday spirits—a gift that she couldn’t find any flaw in.
Recently, Dwyane Wade shared a few adorable snippets from their trip. One of them was her youngest daughter, opening up her present. “Yeah! you know what I love Hello Kitty!” As the 6-year-old couldn’t control her excitement receiving a Hello Kitty-themed gift. As stated previously, she wasn’t on board with her parent’s antics during the festive trip. In another snippet, the couple tried singing a Christmas carol, but it left Kaavia more frustrated.
She couldn’t believe her parents didn’t know the lyrics for The 12 Days of Christmas. “You can learn the words with this song,” Kaavia says as her mother struggles to sing the song. She is seen putting her head down on the table in disappointment.

Gabrielle Union shared the particular clip in her story: “We cannot stop watching this!!! @kaaviajames is so over our incompetence.” In an earlier post, the family shared another snippet, where once again the youngest was frustrated. This time due to the holiday destination not being Hawaii.
“@kaaviajames 😂😆😂 She wishes we were in Hawaii 😂😂.” Because of the gold weather, Kaavia wore a puffer jacket and covered her face but still her disappointment was on display. That’s why The Perfect Find actress even joked, “This is definitely gonna be a therapy session in about 20 years.” But it seems they finally found something for their daughter, despite not being big on gifting.
