Shaquille O’Neal surely has a career where people can get inspiration from. Not just basketball lessons but business acumen as well, because the Lakers legend currently has over $500 million in net worth. That’s why even the legendary global sensation, Snoop Dogg admires Shaq. And on the Stephen A. Smith show, the owner of Death Row Records was compared to the Big Aristotle.

I’m just saying, do you ever find they’re gonna start calling you Shaq. You know that, right?” The ESPN analyst had iconic West Coast rappers Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg as guests.”They’re gonna start calling you Shaq. They be like can somebody else have a job? I mean, you doing it all, brother. You doing it all.” Smith highlighted Snoop Dogg’s work during the Olympics and appreciated the legendary artist for the same.

Snoop Dogg and Shaquille O’Neal have formed a strong bond. The former even gave the ‘Greatest NBA Rapper of All Time’ title to Shaq. This year the ex-center even shared a heartwarming wish in his unique style. “Snoop D-O double mother fu–ing G. Happy birthday with your old a–,” and even credited the 16-time Grammy nominated artist for the Lakers three-peat. “Three-peat because of you, baby.” It’s a known fact that Snoop Dogg is a diehard Lakers fan.

So, back in 2002, he even recorded a track called “Purp & Yellow” before the Finals. It was a straight sweep and Shaquille O’Neal was unstoppable, dominating with 36 points and 12 rebounds, earning his third straight Finals MVP.

Just like everybody, Stephen A. Smith was enamored by Snoop. A quality that Shaquille O’Neal loved and learned from the legendary artist during the Justin Bieber roast show. On his podcast with Bert Kreischer, seven months ago, the 4x NBA champion explained “no more all the way corporate guy like I’m going to still be corporate but I’m going to be Shaq.”

That’s why Stephen A. Smith said, “Even I’m telling you right now, Dre. This brother can walk in the sports commentary now, and I’m not just talking about this box off; I’m talking about talking Sports, breaking that shit down. This brother is better than most right now,” on his YouTube Channel.

Even Snoop Dog credited Shaquille O’Neal for business lesson two years ago. “I’m just inspired by him. I love how he took his basketball career, put it on pause, and took his business.” Both of them started their career at a similar time, and even now are learning a thing or two from each other.
