Recently he made headlines for his rather harsh parenting style for which he was heavily critiqued. Howard has responded to all the harsh criticism he has received recently and seemingly defended his actions and attempted to revive his tarnished image.

He was in the news in the past for his alleged beef with Shaquille O’Neal, for winning the Olympic medal for Team USA, and making it to multiple All-NBA teams. Recently many got critical of him as he uploaded a video online in which he can be seen shouting at his son mercilessly.

Dwight Howard uploaded a video where he was see lashing out on his son while the 9 year old works out on heavy gym machinery. He was seen shouting out, “I want you to do it until I tell you to stop.” while his son was seen crying and seemingly in excruciating pain. Turns out he’s not apologetic of his parenting attitude towards his kin.
He wrote on his social media handle and wrote, “Good, better, best. Never let it, till your good is better and your better is best. When a task has once begun. Never leave it. Until it?s Done. Be the labor Great or Small do it well. Or not all. Go be great today.”?It’s quite evident that Howard preaches being great in your profession. It’s probably because of this mentality that he went on to become one of the best centers during his time in the NBA. The Orlando Magic star is teaching the same attitude to his son which allowed him to achieve a humongous amount of success in the basketball world. His statement might change the minds of people who were heavily critical of him.

Dwight finally held the NBA title for the very first time towards the end of his career in the NBA when he played for the Los Angles Lakers. Howard had an impeccable career in basketball. Throughout the course of his career he was seen averaging an impressive double-double with over 15 points and 11 rebounds. Despite all the criticism he’s facing recently one cannot downplay his elite mentality that his son should definitely take some inspiration from.
