Shaquille O’Neal is a very successful businessman. With diverse ventures, he has amassed a net worth of 400 million dollars. The 4x NBA champion recently held his annual fundraiser for the Shaquille O’Neal Foundation. This is his means of giving back to the community, and during a special segment, to his mother as well. Shortly after spending $20,000 for his mother’s special experience, Shaq is headed to another star-studded charity event. This time, an influential Shark Tank investor is hosting his 4th Annual Black Entrepreneurs Day Event.
The 2000 NBA MVP is one of the high-profile guests who will be joining the event, which is focused on educating and inspiring upcoming business leaders.

Shaquille O’Neal will be at the iconic Apollo Theater
The event is set to take place in Harlem, New York. It will be on November 1st at the Apollo Theater. The CEO and founder of FUBU first launched the event as a celebration for black businesses but is now also focused on empowering the next generation. There will be a live performance by Rick Ross and appearances by different celebrities, including the Los Angeles Lakers legend.

Through this event, Daymond John hopes to pass down his knowledge to the upcoming leaders of society, inspire the young black moguls, and also celebrate hip-hop’s 50th anniversary during the event.
The 54-year-old, from his own personal experience, knows what it is like to climb the ladder from the bottom. After graduating high school, he did not have enough money to go to college. So he started working as a waiter. Now, years later, he is worth 350 million dollars.
According to Vibe, the event is set to include panels, discussions, and film screenings centered around business and culture. They will also be giving out grants through the “NAACP Powershift Entrepreneur Grant.”
Shaquille O’Neal has been making waves with his business endeavors too. Days after having his own fundraising gala, Shaq will be a great addition to the event.

Shaq spent $20,000 on his mother
During Shaq’s recent fundraising gala, there was a live auction for people to bid on. Shaq also participated in it and spent thousands of dollars for charity.
One of the most heartwarming moments of the segment was when Shaq spent $20,000 for his mom to sit on stage while Jennifer Hudson and John Legend were performing.
The event also included experiences such as spending a day with Shaq at his house and watching an Inter Miami game with David Beckham that also went for high prices.
