Charles Barkley has been enjoying the playoffs this season. Apart from just analyzing the games, he has taken some hilarious jabs at a few NBA stars for various reasons. One thing Barkley loves to do is roast the players on their game outfits, and Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams fell prey to it. The Phoenix Suns legend was in absolute denial at Williams’ viral outfit, but he was not the only one to criticize him.
Former Phoenix Suns veteran Eddie Johnson has shared his transparent thoughts about the modern NBA on Twitter regularly. On one such episode today, he shared his disbelief at witnessing Williams’ hilarious outfit. He wrote on Twitter, “The person who convinced JW[Jalen Williams] to wear this, should be in JAIL!” Brutal, isn’t it? But let’s listen to Barkley’s roast before we conclude.

The 1993 MVP had a lot to say on Inside the NBA. He shared on live television, “What the hell? He wore that to the game? That’s a real outfit?” After getting confirmation from his co-hosts, he added, “He must’ve known he was going to play well. He looked like a damn idiot, but he played well… You just can’t wear anything kids, come on kids.“
Williams wore a black hoodie, with which he covered a majority of his face. It’s good that he finished the game with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. If not, Barkley would have had much more brutal words to say! While this denial looked genuine from Barkley, he might have also used this as an opportunity to take revenge on the OKC youngster. What did Jalen Williams and the Thunder do?

Did Barkley take revenge because the OKC Thunder denied TNT?
Oklahoma has taken a demanding lead in their first-round match-up against the New Orleans Pelicans. Many are fond of the Thunder’s post-game interviews, which have been a sensation on the internet. The TNT broadcast tried their chance to get a few words from the young stars of OKC, but Jalen Williams and Co. decided to ignore them.
The 23-year-old forward and a few of his teammates ditched a TNT reporter and joined local reporter, Bally Sports‘ Nick Gallo. This is because Bally Sports are their “Home TV“, so the OKC stars decided to showcase their loyalty this way. They make sure to give Gallo a good interview every time.

Now Charles Barkley’s brutal words make sense, right? Regardless, he is not the only one who took shots at Williams’s outfit. The entire social media is mocking the young forward. Eddie Johnson was the latest addition.
