It was not a normal sight to see Stephen A. Smith join the set of TNT’s Inside the NBA during the semifinals of the in-season tournament. Although it is often Stephen A. Smith who does the bullying on his show, as the worlds collided, Charles Barkley made Smith stay in his place with hilarious jabs at the 56-year-old media personality.
Although it has just been a couple of hours since then, JJ Redick has now stepped in and taken on the role to remind Smith yet again that he has no chance in a physical confrontation against Charles Barkley.

JJ Redick did not hold back
As Stephen A. Smith was on the receiving end of Charles Barkley’s hilarious verbal abuse throughout the night, it started off with Barkley issuing a warning to Smith right as the show kicked off.
Both sets of ESPN and TNT were kept side by side, and Barkley went on to say how happy he was to see everyone from the ESPN desk. But then he threatened Smith by saying that if he pulled his regular loud-mouthed shenanigans here, Barkley would take it upon himself to put an end to it.
As the semifinals of the in-season tournament are now over, Stephen A. Smith is back with his crew of the First Take to discuss everything that happened in the games. As this was going on, JJ Redick interrupted Smith just to reaffirm Barkley’s threat and said that Smith would have no chance against Barkley.
JJ Redick said, “In all seriousness, I just want to say one thing. Stephen A., Chuck would absolutely whoop your a**. I think you know that, but I just want to state that for all of America to know, Chuck would whoop your a**.”
As the finals of the IST are scheduled to be held soon, it won’t be long before we see what comes next in the back-and-forth between Stephen A. Smith and Charles Barkley.

Smith issued his warning against the Inside the NBA crew
As Smith was getting absolutely roasted by the TNT crew with their ‘Shaqtin’ a Fool’ segment, Smith wanted to let them all know that he might be conceding his defeat right now, but he does have a 2-hour daily show on television, and he will be waiting for the right opportunity to get back at them.

At the end of the day, it is all in good fun. After the show, Smith even posted a hilarious meme on social media that he was getting ‘cooked’. It is not often that we see both ESPN and TNT working together. And now that we have received it, fans can’t help but ask for more.
