Adam Silver has faith in The Golden City! The Warriors will host the 2025 NBA All-Star in San Francisco. And both tension and excitement are palpable among the fans and the players. But, one person who wasn’t fond of the idea was Charles Barkley. His reason was one of the particular natives of San Francisco! He was even set to miss one of the biggest yearly events. Regardless, Silver has high hopes that the city will put all of Chuck’s concerns at ease.
The NBA commissioner recently had the chance to interview with The San Francisco Standard. And while the latest hot happenings in the NBA were bound to be discussed, Silver was also asked about Chuck’s bitter opinion on the city.
“I have no doubt that San Francisco and the Bay Area will demonstrate to Charles that his impressions about the city are flat-out wrong,” Silver responded to the question.

For those who might not be aware, Sir Charles isn’t fine with the rodent issues in San Francisco. The basketball legend was vocal about it during his appearance on Inside the NBA.
“I’m not going. I’m not going to that rat-infested place out in San Francisco,” Barkley was quite clear.

However, Silver believes the Warriors and their fandom will change Barkley’s opinion positively. San Francisco has undoubtedly made several changes to make the streets safer, but Chuck’s opinion is also quite old. It won’t be an easy one!
During the segment, he further added, “San Francisco is not a beautiful city. Rats. Cats. Y’all are not gonna make me like San Francisco. No. Nope, nope, nope.”
That’s not all!

Even last year, in one of the NBA’s broadcast segments of the All-Star Game in Indianapolis, the Philadelphia 76ers legend pointed out the same. Well, hopefully, Chuck will attend the NBA All-Star event. Along with his arrival, he also made a massive announcement.
His brand, Redmont Vodka, will join the roster of some of the most important sponsors of the party. During a segment of Inside the NBA, Kenny Smith made the announcement. “I want the camera back over here… One of the most important sponsors of the year. Redmont Vodka!”

This year, we’re bringing the smoothest vibes to San Francisco for an unforgettable night. Get ready for top-tier cocktails, all-star energy, and a celebration like no other. Cheers to another legendary event!”
Moreover, the most interesting part will begin when Barkley’s team, Chuck’s Global Stars, battles against Barkley’s team Kenny’s Young Stars in the semi-finals. Next up, Shaquille O’Neal’s Shaq’s OGs will face the Candace’s Rising Stars.
