“Bro, I’m Marcus Jordan. I’m Michael Jordan’s son! I’m not doing anything wrong, I’m just trying to get home. And I made a wrong turn. OK?” The second son of MJ uttered his sentence to one of the officers, as he tried to get off the jam. If you think this statement is strange, then the entire ordeal of his arrest will give you a shock. The Trophy Room founder found himself in serious trouble with the police in Maitland, Florida—DUI, possession of coc-ine, and resisting arrest. After his arrest, he had a special request.
Reports by TMZ Sports state that Michael Jordan’s son belligerently demanded officers play Mariah Carey tunes when he was locked up. There are allegations on him of drunk driving his Lamborghini SUV onto tracks. Plus, the report further added that Marcus “talked incessantly,” and got “agitated and confrontational when given commands or asked questions.” Seemingly, his agitation reached boiling point because there was no Carey music in the facility.
“Can’t you play some holiday music or some shi-? Play some Mariah Carey up in this bit-h.” It’s not the only time during the entire arrest process where he wanted some music. At first, when he was in the police car, he wanted the officers to increase the volume to listen to the local radio sing. Which was the famous ‘Eye of the Tiger.’ That’s when he hurled accusations “Let’s arrest the black guy.”

Marcus Jordan posted a $4,000 bail and left the Orange County, Florida DUI facility on February 4. Since the time of arrest, nobody from Jordan’s representative has given any statement about the issue. Which has backfired on the Michael Jordan brand as well.
While no one spoke about it, the 34-year-old’s rumored girlfriend has been the only person to make a public statement. Nara Ford, an IG model, added to her story, “That was NOT me. I’ve been in Vegas for a week. Please stop.” People started questioning her because the lady in the car too had blonde hair and Ford and Marcus Jordan have hung out in the past, even visiting the Bulls stadium to watch a game.ADVERTISEMENT

How Marcus Jordan ended up in this situation
Officers’ body cameras at 1:14 AM first discovered MJ’s son and a woman inside a blue Lamborghini SUV that had gotten stuck on some train tracks. Since that moment, Marcus Jordan was angry and told the police officers he had taken a wrong turn and ended up on track. Then he unsuccessfully tried to move his $300,000 vehicle, all this while being loud against the officers.

The officers conducted a sobriety test and allegedly found a white powdery substance in his possession. As per the body cam footage, there was no violent incident. At one point, he stuck his leg out to keep the officers from closing the car door. Also, several times throughout the process, he alleged that the officers were racist.
That’s why in the reports Cops wrote that Michael Jordan’s son was also “loud, profane and belligerent” — and exhibited “a sarcastic, patronizing attitude towards” authorities. The more reports come out, the messier the situation might get for Marcus Jordan.
