In a recent episode of the ?Dan Patrick Show?, the host asks Charles Barkley, ?How do you sum up what has happened in Colorado with Deion? How would you describe it??. Coach Prime?s decision to coach the Colorado Buffaloes quickly earned the Colorado Front Office hundred of millions of dollars through a drastic increase in ticket sales, donations and media exposure. The 76ers legend replies to the Dan Patrick?s question, ?It?s what I know that Deion was going to do. He has the ?it? factor. First of all, he?s a really great person.?. He further explains, ?He?s a great coach and he?s got a great staff. He reminds me a lot of Nick Saban. And I think Nick Saban is the greatest coach ever.?.

Nick Saban is a legendary American Football coach who has immensely contributed to the sport over his 4-decade-long career. His ability to adapt over time, despite the ever-evolving game of American football, has catapulted him into a league of his own. He is widely considered the greatest College Football coach of all time.

Many Football fans were caught off-guard when Charles Barkley drew comparisons between Coach Prime and Nick Saban. The two Football legends have had their differences in the past and even publicly voiced their opinions regarding the same.

The feud between Deion Sanders and Nick Saban

The ?Beef? between the two legends started when Nick Saban accused Jackson State, coached by Deion Sanders at the time, of ?paying a guy a million dollars? to play for their team which went unpunished. The 7-time National Champion?s allegations were also meant for the Texas A&M Front Office whom he had previously accused of ?buying every play on their team” in the new NIL environment.

Deion Sanders and the ?A&M? administration responded with strong statements of their own. Many speculated that this would be the end of the famous “Aflac” commercials featuring Deion and Saban. However, that was not the case as the two legends reunited for another commercial later on.

However, Coach Prime took a strong stance against Nick Saban?s allegations. Sander at the time said, ?I haven?t talked to Coach Saban. I?m sure he?s tried to call. We need to talk publicly ? not privately.?. He further added, ?What you said was public. That doesn?t require a conversation. Let?s talk publicly and let everybody hear the conversation. You can?t do that publicly and call privately.?.

Despite the heated exchange between the two legends in the past, both of them still show love for each other. Nick Saban went on to apologize for his comments and Deion Sanders openly shows his immense love and respect for Nick Saban to this day.
