Flirting or Not? Shaquille O’Neal Seeks Clarity From “Pretty Girl With Big Arms” After Sliding Into Her DMs

Shaquille O’Neal sliding into women’s DMs seems to be a common thing now. The Big Guy is a menace when it comes to intruding inboxes and then acknowledging it openly. Recently he did it with Alycia Baumgardner, a 29-year-old super featherweight boxer.

Alycia was recently on The Big Podcast where she revealed that Shaq once slid into her DMs. However, the Big Shaq was more concerned about how she perceived it, so he asked her about it on the spot.

Did Shaquille O’Neal flirt with Alycia Baumgardner?

Alycia is a famous boxer, and much like any other famous person, there are a lot of people who admire her. Often the lines of admiration get blurred and fans go into the zone where their approach seems more creepy. When asked about some of the most weird comments she has received, Alycia said that there are just too many to recall. However, the Big Man insisted and she responded with: “You know, it’s something about these guys who comment on my pictures and say, “Oh punch me, I wanna get punched”, and I’m like that’s wild”.

There were a few more of such responses that the 29-year-old exposed on the podcast. But Shaq had another question ready. He asked, “Who is the biggest name to jump into your DMs”. Now, Alycia was initially trying to not take Shaq’s name because that was the obvious answer, but once the Big Man started smiling over his own question, she had to bring it up. She said, “I wanna say, Shaq O’Neal. I think he jumped in the DMs”.

Shaq confidently owned the situation and didn’t try to hide the fact that he slid into her DMs. He said, “I did. I’m gonna tell you how. Because when I saw her, I didn’t know she was a boxer. I saw the boxing thing and I saw this pretty girl with some big arms.” Shaq then asked her for clarification on whether he was flirting with her or not.

He asked, “Was I flirting when I jumped in DM or did I just give you a compliment?” Alycia said, “No no. You just gave me a compliment. He stepped into the DMs.”

To stretch the bit a little further, Shaq teased her by saying that she wasn’t actually supposed to say his name. However, going by the way he interacted, Shaq seemed to enjoy doing what he did.
