NBA legend Dennis Rodman is one unique individual. During his time in the league and even after retirement, the former player has engaged in some unusual antics that always catch the attention of the media. At the same time, however, Rodman is someone who doesn?t forget those who have been a big part of his life and have shown him respect from time to time.

A few hours before making his debut at AEW’s Premium Live Event [PLE], Rodman took a moment to thank the city where he enjoyed three championship parades.

The official Twitter handle of the Chicago Bulls recently uploaded a video. It highlighted Dennis Rodman engaging in a discussion with AEW fighter Jeff Jarrett. It took place prior to the Bulls legend?s AEW Debut last night. During the same, the 62-year-old reminisced about the?Windy City.?

?Chicago mean a lot to me man? said Rodman during the interview. ?I get so emotional because they (the people) love me so much.?

As Rodman started to get a little emotional and choked on his sentences, the wrestler proceeded to pat the former player?s back.

All that the former player could let out for a few seconds was ?I can?t speak.? Having been away from Chicago for 13 years, Rodman expressed his gratitude for the love that the people of Chicago have shown him, especially fans of the $4.1 billion Chicago Bulls.

?I hope the city of Chicago would love me as much as I love them,? Rodman added at the end to conclude the clip.

By highlighting Rodman?s love for Chicago, the Bulls want everyone to know that the Worm carries a deep passion for the city. After his emotional conversation with Jarrett however, Dennis had the opportunity to fight.

Rodman slams Sonjay Dutt during his AEW Debut

Dennis Rodman landed on his old stomping grounds to throw some fists. On Friday, the official Twitter handle of the All Elite Wrestling announced that Dennis Rodman will be making his round at the United Center.

Rodman tried his hand at wrestling 15 years after winning Hulk Hogan’s show and over 2 decades after his WCW bouts. The comeback was sweet.?When on stage, a memorable moment occurred when Jeff Jarrett invited the NBA star to ?join his ?family?.

Rejecting the ?invitation?, Rodman proceeded to grab the neck of 41-year-old Sonjay Dutt and slam him to the ground. Before the rest of his crew could come to their wrestler?s defense, the music boomed throughout the ring and The Acclaimed came out to support Rodman.

Dennis Rodman may not have engaged in much fighting. The 62-year-old, however, did get a chance to slam one of the prominent names of AEW to the ground.
