Young owners in the NASCAR scene are bringing a major change to the landscape of NASCAR racing. Denny Hamlin is stepping up his game with his recent win and working with Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. Being the competitor that Jordan is, he unveiled his desire to win as soon as he announced his team in 2020.

With Micahel Jordan in attendance to support his team, along with one of the most successful artists in the last 5 years, J. Balvin, the spotlight was on the NASCAR world recently.

Hamlin puts Michael Jordan behind himself

Michael Jordan is the majority owner of the 23XI Racing NASCAR team. A minority stake in the team is held by Denny Hamlin. Denny Hamlin recently won the Bass Pro Shops Night Race in Bristol.

Recently, during an interview with FOX Sports, Hamlin was asked a particular question. He was asked what a bigger moment for Hamlin was: Whether it was his third win at Bristol or having Michael Jordan and singer J. Balvin in his team’s box.

J. Balvin was also at the event and was promoting his latest collaboration with the Jordan brand. It was the newest J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 ?Medellin Sunset?. This is Balvin’s third collaboration with the Jordan Brand.

To the question, Hamlin replied, “I’m a selfish guy. So I’m going to say that winning for myself was bigger.”

Hamlin then goes on to explain how happy he is for the trifecta. He won the race. Both teams are moving on to the next round. He was in the presence of Jordan and J. Balvin. So there could not have been anything better about the day for him.

MJ was doubted by the critics

When Jordan introduced his team to NASCAR, he also told people that he hoped to win soon. Insiders in the scene did not believe that Jordan understood what he was getting into and that it would be long before the team won. But the team started winning in their opening year as well. This made the insider take back his words.

Bubba Wallace, who is a driver for the 23XI racing team, talked about the team’s success. He credits the wins to having an open mind and developing strategies to face the competition. In the current generation, there is no visible difference between the vehicles they use. So the only thing to improve to get yourself an advantage is with the pit crew, the strategies, and the pit chief.
