The recent NBA season concluded on the 12 of June. Since then, various teams have indulged themselves in either trading or acquiring new players. All of it is being done for the sole purpose of improving their game for the upcoming season next year.
A certain Boston Celtics legend recently gave an interview to speak against a possible pairing between Miami Heat legend Jimmy Butler and another potential player, only a few hours after Butler was put on questioning by fans of F1 racer Lewis Hamilton.

Former NBA player Paul Pierce bid adieu to the NBA in 2017. However, he still keeps a tab about the various changes and events that are happening in the world of professional basketball. The 10? NBA All-Star recently appeared on What?s Burnin? with Rachel Nichols, a show on Showtime Basketball, along with former Houston Rockets player Tracy McGrady. During the interview, a topic was raised about whether 33-year-old Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard is a good choice for the Miami Heat.
While McGrady agreed that Miami will have a chance when Lillard is paired up with the likes of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, Pierce had a different opinion. According to him, if they are paired up, the team won?t be able to make it out of the first round of playoffs itself.

The Miami Heat struggled initially but recovered during the previous season and even reached the NBA Finals. Pierce credits that performance to a deep roster of players that would be traded off if Dillard joins the team.
Appearing for an interview the very next day, Pierce was reminded of the comments he had made by the host. The player stood behind and doubled down on what he said.

He brought up the point that when people talk about Miami Heat reaching the finals, they forget the fact that the Heat were a play-in team. ?That don?t make you a contender when you get to the Finals,? said Pierce.
As Pierce targets one NBA player, fans of Lewis Hamilton target the other.
