It’s been quite a few decades since we’ve seen another Pippen lighting up the game. Scotty Pippen Jr. is shining with new records and spectacular performances in the league. And so is his youngest brother, Justin Pippen. Months after announcing his commitment to Michigan University, the 6-foot-4 freshman just had one of his better games for the Wolverines playing against Tarleton. After celebrating Scotty Jr.’s stunning display, Larsa Pippen hyped up the 19-year-old.
It seems the RHOM star couldn’t make it to the game, but she ensured she kept a close look at the game from her home. Sharing a snap of the screen showing the live game between Tarleton and Michigan on her IG story, Larsa wrote, “Let’s go @justinpippen,” to cheer for him. The former Sierra Canyon star scored 2 points for the Wolverines as they grabbed a 72-49 win. Despite a slow start, Sam Walters’ three three-pointer display and Tre Donaldson’s 13-point game helped the team lead. Roddy Gayle Jr. had another show-stealing performance with 16 points.
Pippen’s youngest had to miss out on the first two games for Michigan due to an injury he sustained in the summer, and finally got the green signal in the game against TCU. In his debut game, he managed an assist to Gayle and scored his first points, 10 minutes into the game against Tarleton.

“When I played in the lineup with Justin, he doesn’t look like a freshman, probably just because of his experience — it makes sense, because he was probably surrounded by basketball,” Michigan center Vladislav Goldin had said of the younger Pippen. With increasing playtime, the Sierra Canyon high school graduate will likely have more chances to show his strengths; and so with a little confidence boost from watching his brother.

After all, it is Scotty Jr., who is excelling in the NBA, who has pushed Justin “to wake up every single day and put the work in.”
Larsa Pippen celebrates Scotty Pippen Jr.’s record-setting triple-double
After gaining experience with the LA Lakers and the G League, a more seasoned Scotty Pippen Jr. stepped up admirably during Ja Morant’s absence. He has also secured a permanent deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, which was quickly followed by a moment to be etched in history. While not as attention-grabbing as the record held by LeBron James and Bronny but equally monumental, Scotty achieved his first career triple-double, making him and his father Scottie Pippen the first father-son duo in NBA history to record triple-doubles.

When Bleacher Report announced the milestone on Instagram, the Real House of Miami star was among the first to comment and praise Scotty. Facing the Washington Wizards, Scotty hit 11 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds, leading the Grizzlies to a dominant 128-104 victory. He then made significant strides as a playmaker, recording a career-high 13 assists in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this month.
This time as well, Larsa Pippen was quick to celebrate his achievements. Taking to social media, she wrote, “Let’s go @spippenjr!” While she isn’t always able to attend her children’s games in person, the mother of four has been the loudest supporter of the Pippen on social media.
