Now, while one might often want to visit and watch a golf major live, the overall cost is quite expensive. This year, against all odds, fans made their way to the Old Course because the Golden State Warriors won a title.

Did the fans know what they were doing?

“I go, ‘Let’s just throw a s**tload of money on them,’” Beliveau revealed. From plane tickets to accommodation, spending days at the Old Course is not cheap. Not only did the Warriors prove themselves with another title, Beliveau and his friends enjoyed NBA and golf both.

Since the betting they wanted to do was not legal in Minnesota, they even traveled to Iowa to do so. “We hit all the kiosks, as much as we could get on it. We all chipped in.”
