The 2020 NBA Draft will take place on November 18, and the teams are preparing to select the best talent according to their needs. Speaking of the best talents, Georgia guard Anthony Edwards is expected to be a top 3 pick.
Edwards recently worked out with the Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Hornets. Although the Hornets have the third pick in the draft, there is a chance Edwards will fall to that spot.
Edwards shared his experience in a recent interview about working out in front of Bulls legend Michael Jordan and said, “It was crazy that he came into the gym. It was shocking, it’s crazy. It’s like, ‘That’s Michael Jordan.'”

Michael Jordan is regarded as one the greatest player of all time by the staggering majority. He has accomplished a lot in his career as a player, but as an owner, MJ has not seen much success.
During Jordan’s years as the owner of the Hornets, they have stayed at the bottom of the barrel. After trading star guard Kemba Walker, they are back in a rebuilding phase.
Keeping that in mind, the Hornets have a great opportunity to land a perennial talent with their #3 overall pick. But could Anthony Edwards do well with the Hornets? That remains the top question.

Along with his experience working out for the Hornets, Edwards also spoke about his experience with the Warriors as well. He said:
“It was a learning lesson. I learned a lot from the workout. I feel like that workout changed my mindset. Just give it your all and just go hard. It’s not about how many shots you make in a row. Just go hard. Go as hard as you can.”

The Warriors are preparing to make a comeback after a terrible 2019-20 season. Moreover, with the#2 overall pick, they have a great opportunity to make their roster even stronger. They can either draft an up-and-coming star prospect or trade it away to get established talent.
As of now, there have only been rumors about the trade going down, so the Dubs will most likely draft a young prospect. What do you think? Will Anthony Edwards be the best player for them?
