Both the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors have put their best foot forward in the NBA Finals. The players have set the crowds alive with some insane plays over the course of the two games so far.
However, while some have been exceptional, others haven’t got much going yet. Notably, Warriors guard Klay Thompson is going through a major shooting slump so far in the Finals. However, his method of dealing with it has not sat well with NBA fans.
Thompson is one of the biggest factors for the Warriors’ dynasty days. While Stephen Curry took the limelight as one of, if not, the greatest shooter of all time, Klay is right behind. The splash brothers shook the NBA with their shooting supremacy and had every team searching for ways to stop them.

When hot, Klay is one of the most dangerous players on the floor as he barely misses a shot. However, while on one side he could score 60 points in 29 minutes, there are also the bad nights. And the Finals haven’t been kind to Thompson so far.
He addressed his shooting slump in the Finals and said he will search for Game 6 Klay to get over his slump. But this remedy isn’t one the fans were hoping to hear.

Klay Thompson speaks up on his shooting slump
So far in the two Finals games, Thompson hasn’t been even close to his best. The shooting maestro has barely made any of his shots and is yet to cross the 20-point mark. Despite the Warriors dominating in Game 2, Klay had one of the worst games of his postseason. He scored just 11 points while shooting 4-19 from the floor.
While this was a major sign of concern, Klay seemed to find some fun in the situation. When asked about the poor run, he responded saying, “I’ll probably just YouTube Game 6 Klay.”
While Game 6 Klay is one of the most impressive players out there, the fans did not see the fun. They went after Klay Thompson as they did not find his answer funny.

Klay may not have answered the question in the most technical way, but he is surely feeling the pressure. As one of the best shooters in the game, Klay rarely has stretches similar to these. However, the major upside about Thompson is that he is fearless.
No matter how bad a night it may be for him, Klay isn’t going to stop shooting the ball. And if he is missing now, they are bound to fall in at some point. And when they do, it is one of the toughest jobs to stop a scorching hot Klay Thompson.
