However, the LaMelo Ball-less Hornets embarrassed the Knicks by defeating them 105-112 at MSG. At last, there is something to be happy about for team owner Michael Jordan after Hornets’ poor record this season. In the absence of Jalen Brunson, the burden of scoring and playmaking has fallen on the shoulders of Randle and Immanuel Quickley. However, Randle’s 16 points and Quickley’s 14 points did not help the team to extend their streak.
Considering the performances of the entire team, fans believe they have a comfortable road to the playoffs. Standing as the 5th seed in the East, the fans are eager to see the team in the playoffs again.

While the Hornets haven’t had much to celebrate this year, the return of star forward PJ Washington boosted their morale. Despite the win, the Hornets sit 14th in the East with a 21-46 record. However, they won’t be too disappointed if this record leads to them getting the first pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
