With a few games remaining in the regular season, the Brooklyn Nets are looking to finish their season on a high note. Kevin Durant continues to lead the team, often scoring high to secure a win. The Nets’ most recent win was against the Miami Heat, who are ranked second in the Eastern Conference.
As the Nets are currently placed eighth, which only qualifies them for the play-in tournament.?However, with Kyrie Irving back on the court full-time, fans expect a deep playoff run from the team.

Of course, that does nothing to save Durant and the team from a technical.
Kevin Durant was confused after being slapped with a technical foul
During the recent Miami Heat-Brooklyn Nets encounter, Durant was slapped with a technical foul after he apparently clapped once. The confusion on Durant’s face is clear, who even repeated his gesture in a way to cross-check. Bam Adebayo blocked Durant, who was trying to drive past him and lay in a finger roll.

Unfortunately, the ball was knocked out of bounds, and a technical was called moments later. The two-time NBA Champion even tried to confirm, clearly wondering why the bizarre call was made.
However, ultimately, the Nets ended up beating the Heat 110-95.
How much did Durant score vs. the Nets?
Durant ended up finishing the game with game-high 23 points. Seth Curry and Andre Drummond followed with 17 and 13 points, respectively. For the Heat, Bam Adebayo led with 14 points.

“I thought there was a lot of force and purpose offensively,” Nets head coach Steve Nash said. “We didn’t take things for granted.”

Durant too was happy with their performance. He added that in the end, all phases of their game worked out for them. Additionally, the top four teams in the East are separated only by half a game.
The Nets and their fans are excited to have Irving play at home. The team also has Ben Simmons sidelined, who is supposed to help Irving and Durant score and be a force on the defensive end.
