Bringing the best of three sports, pickleball’s popularity has grown exponentially since 2021. The multi-sport activity has attracted some of the biggest investors to the major league. Notably, the valuations of the 12 teams in the Major League Pickleball have surpassed the seven-figure mark. Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry is also a part of the elite list of investors who joined the program. And it seems the sport has made even ‘The King’, LeBron James a big enough fan.
LeBron James has dominated the NBA courts for 20 years. However, his business empire is right up there. The four-time champion owns a stake in one of the most successful soccer clubs, Liverpool. In addition, he also owns his very own media company, SpringHill along with Maverick Carter. And the duo is ready to launch their next move in the world of pickleball.

As the Major League Pickleball plans to expand to 16 teams, they will also welcome James and Carter as new team owners. However, James is also bringing some friends along.
LeBron James to own MLP team with Draymond Green and Kevin Love
Stephen Curry and James have been in a back-and-forth battle over the past decade for the title to be the best. The Finals battles and heated moments surprisingly gave way to mutual respect. Apart from Curry, the relationship between Draymond Green and his rival has recently picked up. Carrying each other like brothers, Green has even helped the Los Angeles Lakers forward in his tequila venture. Likewise, now LeBron James is joining hands to build an All-Star core like the Golden State Warriors.
Along with Carter and Green, James’ Cleveland teammate Kevin Love is also a part of the project. Likewise, NBA fans were stunned on receiving the news. And each had a say of their own:
