One star who welcomed the enigmatic striker was none other than NBA great LeBron James. However, Zlatan seemingly refused the gift from King James. The 41-year-old had a different reaction to another NBA superstar, though.
Zlatan broke various records during his time in America. The 6′ 5 player scored an impressive 54 goals from his 56 appearances in the MLS. This feat made him only the third active player to score 500+ career goals cementing his legacy as an all-time great.

Recently retiring at the age of 41, the Swedish phenom was shown love and respect by the entire sporting fraternity, including NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Milwaukee Bucks star was in return acknowledged by the soccer great, which even freaked out the ‘Greek Freak‘ himself.
In a show of respect, Zlatan sent a signed AC Milan jersey to the 2x NBA MVP who is currently on vacation after his first-round exit in the Playoffs this season. Posting a picture about it Giannis tweeted, “When you are on vacation and the GOAT sends you a jersey!”

The gesture went on to show the astute gentleman Zlatan is, although quite chaotic in his own right, the revered athlete is loved by many. Not only was the jersey signed, but it had a special message for the Bucks star that read, “To Giannis, with all love and success! you are the best!”
Finally retiring after a splendid career Zlatan will be making more of an impact on the sporting world. An icon who is loved by many across the world, his mentality and charisma will forever be cherished. However, LeBron James might have a slightly different opinion of him.

LeBron James got a taste of who Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in 2018
Back in 2018, the Los Angeles Lakers star supposedly sent a signed jersey to welcome Zlatan to LA. But to his surprise, the soccer legend sent back the jersey with his own signature stating, “Zlatan welcomes King James. Now LA has a God and a King! ”
Zlatan further took a dig at the King after he revealed that he wasn’t a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers star speaking about politics. He said, “I like (James) a lot. He?s phenomenal, what he?s doing, but I don?t like when people with a status speak about politics. Do what you?re good at doing.”
