But what made Brown come forward in support of Irving? Antonio Brown is a controversial figure in the NFL. Furthermore, Brown has recently been entangled in a number of controversies himself. He accepted the president role at Kanye West’s Donda Sports in February 2022. West received a lot of backlash for his antisemitic comments, and his net worth and reputation plummeted as a result.
Irving is going through a similar thing right now. As a result, Brown has already witnessed what happened to his close friend West. This might explain why he came forward to endorse Irving. And it is clear, that after this controversy things will not be the same for Irving.
