Kyrie Irving is arguably going through his worst nightmare. While the rest of the world is condemning him, however, NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown defended Irving, stating, “It’s already hard enough.” Furthermore, the NBA world seemed unimpressed with Brown’s involvement in Irving’s latest controversy. And it didn’t take long for them to trash the former Super Bowl champion.

But what made Brown come forward in support of Irving? Antonio Brown is a controversial figure in the NFL. Furthermore, Brown has recently been entangled in a number of controversies himself. He accepted the president role at Kanye West’s Donda Sports in February 2022. West received a lot of backlash for his antisemitic comments, and his net worth and reputation plummeted as a result.

Irving is going through a similar thing right now. As a result, Brown has already witnessed what happened to his close friend West. This might explain why he came forward to endorse Irving. And it is clear, that after this controversy things will not be the same for Irving.

On 6th November, AB tweeted, “Let Kyrie Irvin Play True Greatness to Witness Superhero Support Him He got Nothing to Gain Let him do what he love it’s already Hard enough ! Please don’t cancel him he said his peace just wanna see him be Great Back KI Uncle Drew.”?What’s more, is that Brown didn’t just stop after tweeting this.

Just three minutes later after the tweet, Antonio Brown changed his profile picture. In his new profile picture, fans can see the Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving smiling photo. But the reaction of the crowd was just the opposite of what he might have expected. The NBA world ripped Brown for his gesture. One of the fans said, “The two faces of unemployment.”?

So far, Irving has been suspended for five games and has had major businesses such as Nike break their contracts with him, and he has received international condemnation.
