LeBron James called it the “game of the year”. Draymond Green called the game “madness”. Both NBA Stars lauded the young NFL star for his epic play during the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills game. Magic Johnson was another NBA legend who was also dazzled by the game.

Magic Johnson joined LeBron James and Draymond Green in acknowledging Justin Jefferson. Johnson has made his commentary on Twitter for most games in the NBA and NFL. He tweeted that he watched the comeback victory for Minnesota Vikings against the Buffalo Bills.
He made a special mention for Jefferson and touted him as “one of the top 3 receivers in the NFL”. Johnson was impressed with Jefferson’s “unbelievable catches” in that game.
Johnson is not wrong. The Vikings did mark a landmark comeback with a dramatic and nail-biting win over the Bills with a 33-30 tally. The duo of Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson worked so well to make up for the deficit of 27-23, favoring the Bills.

The dominance of the Vikings spread in the fourth quarter, with them taking the lead in the final minute of the game. They took advantage of Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s snap snafu.

Magic Johnson is impressed with Jefferson
Justin Jefferson’s one-handed catch made the history books. Not just his game, but his consistency had made him the frontrunner for the MVP award. He has incredible stats with a catch percentage that exceeds expectations.
After the game, Jefferson admitted that he was happy that Cousins trusted him with the ball. He said that in the heat of the moment, he only knows that he is “going to fight for the ball”. Jefferson also confessed that the whole moment felt “unreal” like a “movie”. It was his 20th career game and he passed up on Odell Beckham Jr and Randy Moss for playing that many games in his first 3 seasons. But his catch has been the highlight.

Nobody has stopped talking about it. Obviously, it was an iconic play from an extremely promising player. And by getting a stamp of approval from the likes of LeBron James, Draymond Green, and Magic Johnson, Justin Jefferson has made quite a name for himself.
