The reigning NBA champions are looking for a spark to turn things around. The Golden State Warriors are 6-8 so far this season. And apart from the scuffle between teammates Jordan Poole and Draymond Green, the Warriors have been at full strength for most of the season so far. They got Klay Thompson and James Wiseman back in the lineup but have yet to make a good run of games.

The Warriors have no shortage of offense. A plethora of shooters, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Jordan Poole have the ability to light defenses on any night. Also, Andrew Wiggins has finally been performing consistently and has the ability to take over if his teammates have an off night. If you had to pinpoint one thing that the Warriors are lacking, it is the defensive side of the floor.?

NFL star Jimmy Garoppolo stole the show from Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors took on the San Antonio Spurs. Despite the lack of a true star on the team, the Spurs play team ball and have a really unselfish approach to the game. Also, going into the game, the Spurs had a better record than the Warriors. In order to give the Warriors an extra push to win this game, a few NFL stars from the San Francisco 49ers were in attendance. And it worked wonders.

Kyle Juszczyk, George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey, and Jimmy Garoppolo were all seen sitting courtside.?

Despite their defensive issues, the Golden State Warriors shut down the Spurs to just 95 points. The Warriors lost the rebounding game 40-53. It is never easy for a team to lose the battle in rebound and win the game.

However, the Warriors did it with ease owing to their offensive prowess. Also, poor shooting from the Spurs played a helping hand. The final score read 132-95. So if they could find a bit of defensive stability, they could be back to their title-winning form.
