NFL superstar Tom Brady has been on a rough patch lately. There have been allegations that his marriage with Gisele Bundchen could be coming to an end. Furthermore, Brady and his team have been struggling ever since the season began. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won 3 and lost 3 games so far. The talented offense has been struggling to find consistency while the defense has not played well. Recently, he made some controversial statements comparing the football season to a “deployment for the military.” Also, he talked about not having a work-life balance due to his competitiveness.

“Whatever you may say – ‘Oh man, I want to make sure I spend a little more time doing this during the season’ – The reality is when it comes down to it, your competitiveness takes over and as much as you want to have this playful balance with the work balance, you’re going to end up doing exactly what you’ve always done,” Brady said.

These latest comments from Brady did not sit well with many because it was his decision to come back from retirement. Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry and his crew talked about this during their latest episode of the Big Shot Bob podcast.

Robert Horry states Tom Brady should not complain

During the podcast, Robert Horry and his team were all on the same page stating Tom Brady should not be making excuses. They felt that it was Brady’s should not complain because it was his personal decision to come back from his retirement. “Hey! You knew the job was dangerous when you took it. So don’t try to sit here and complain about it,” Horry said.

They also added many in the NFL have had time to spend with their family. And brushed away Brady making his competitiveness an excuse for not having a work-life balance.

Horry and his team were also not happy about Brady comparing a professional league to the military. They then compared the number of regular season games in the NFL and the NBA. While the NFL has 17 regular season games, the NBA has 82. They then brought up the late legend Kobe Bryant because of his dedication and argued he still managed to spend time with his family. And have a work-life balance despite playing a grueling 82-game season for years.
