Phoenix Suns legend Charles Barkley has had several ugly altercations with NBA stars in the past. Over the past few months, Barkley and Suns superstar Kevin Durant have been embroiled in a war of words that doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. The beef took the center stage after Durant’s response to Barkley’s long KD roast on live television a few weeks ago. The media and hoops community have extensively discussed the ongoing beef between the stars. Recently, a former NFL star joined the bandwagon and brought out further layers of the beef. 

This isn’t the first time that Barkley took a shot at KD. He previously called out Kevin Durant for not sticking to a single team. Moreover, he brought up the same debate during his latest KD roast. He said, “He’s very sensitive… He’s part of that generation who thinks he can’t be criticized.” In response to Charles Barkley’s comments, KD took to his Twitter with a strong remark. He said, “This ain’t gettin tiring chuck? I’ll never respect the words that come out ya mouth fam just deal with it.”

In the recent episode of ex-NFL star Marcellus Wiley’s YouTube show, he dissected the KD-Barkley beef. He went on to explain various layers of the beef and expressed his opinion at the end. Wiley began the episode by explaining the recent exchange between the NBA stars. He later briefed about the past incidents between them when Chuck called KD a “Bus rider”.

He further spoke about Durant’s business partner’s response as well. Wiley said, “Business partner said, he better than you what the hell you talking about, and I’m like, ‘damn! shots fired!‘”

Following that, the former NFL star took a dig at Barkley for attacking KD with an empty trophy cabinet. He added, “Somebody take a shot at somebody better than them or man shut up, you’re just jealous.” He later concluded the episode by mentioning that the beef could take an “Ugly” turn.

Ever since Barkley stepped into the television business post his retirement, he has engaged in several beefs with stars. One of his controversial takes even led to a massive fallout between him and Michael Jordan. The duo is yet to find their solace. Apart from Jordan, he also called out Kobe Bryant but they eventually sorted the beef.
