NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is a huge lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys. The Los Angeles Lakers legend has been vocal about his support of the Cowboys over the years. Shaq and the fans were heartbroken after another disappointing end to the season when the Cowboys lost the divisional playoff round against the San Francisco 49ers. Despite star quarterback Dak Prescott‘s efforts, the 49ers won the game 19-12 to book their spot in the NFC championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

A few days after the loss, it was reported Prescott, and his girlfriend Natalie Buffett broke up. However, the couple reportedly broke before the start of the season. Amidst this, Shaq’s recent comments might not be of help.

Shaquille O’Neal joined Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams in the latest episode of the Big Podcast with Shaq. Former NFL player Adams was wearing a San Francisco 49ers jersey and rubbed salt into Shaq’s wounds about the Dallas Cowboys loss. Notably, Stephen A. Smith did something similar after the game. During the show, the crew talked about the Cowboys and the NBA legend was not sure if he should continue his allegiance with the team. When Shaq was hesitant about saying something, media personality Turner encouraged him to continue.

However, the four-time NBA champion took his words back. He stated, “But actually no I’m not. You know, I take it back, I’ll take it back.”
