Klay Thompson has just made a come-back this season after being missing from the Warriors team for more than two and half years. Klay tore his ACL in the Finals series against the Toronto Raptors in 2019. Many have questioned whether he is the same player or not including NFL legend Shannon Sharpe.
According to him, he is not the same defender after tearing his Achilles. He said to Skip Bayless, “I’m not so sure, Skip, if he is ever going to be the same. You tear your Achilles, you turn your ACL and you missed a thousand days. You’re not the same player that you were when you left.”

Sharpe has predicted a Celtics victory in this series and has mentioned that star man Jayson Tatum would have a monster series. He warned Marcus Smart to defend and distribute the ball and also told Jaylen Brown to step up. “You turn the ball over 24 times, Golden State is gonna beat you by 30,” said the former tight end.
Shannon also mentioned that the Celtics need to pay close attention to Stephen Curry and that he might let go of the ball to Jordan Poole or Thompson for threes. Hence, it will be an interesting and intriguing matchup for the fans.
