During the podcast, Shaq recalled his first encounter with GP, praising him for his remarkable skills. However, Shaq’s admiration quickly turned into frustration as he recounted instances where Payton would trash-talk about everyone’s family. He said, “GP talk about your mama, your grandmama, your baby mama. So I’m so mad cuz it’s like just like five or six games I’m like now I gotta see him.” So O’Neal decided to confront him and it led to a hilarious exchange.

As Shaq approached him, Payton realized that engaging in a physical altercation with the towering O’Neal would not end well for him.
