Charles Barkley proudly recalls one of his bizarre ideas
Months back, Charles Barkley candidly told co-host Ernie Johnson about a bizarre tattoo idea he had in his mind. As the Chuckster puts it, he wants to get a tattoo that says ‘mom’ on his backside. Barkley explained that it will read ‘wow’ when he is upside down. Ernie Johnson was bewildered to hear the 1993 MVP’s bizarre idea. Now, on the recent episode of The Steam Room podcast, Barkley and Johnson have revisited the tattoo idea.

In the episode, TK, who is set to bid farewell, tested Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson with a trivia. While EJ was still leading the trivia, TK threw another question at him. TK asked Johnson about Chuck’s comical tattoo idea. He asked EJ to explain what the tattoo was and where Chuck was going to get it. Johnson quickly answered the tattoo question. The Chuckster went on to explain that it will read mom when he stands straight and it will read wow when he is upside down. “Poor late mother would be really proud of that,” TK remarked after hearing Barkley’s tattoo plan.
During an Inside the NBA episode, Charles Barkley got very close to showing his rump on live TV, on the back of the same ‘mom’ tattoo plan.

When Charles Barkley got close to showing his rear side on live TV
As Charles Barkley had only told Ernie Johnson about the tattoo he wants to get, the latter revealed the idea to co-hosts Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith on the NBA on TNT floor. The trio was quick to bring in a tattoo artist to the studio, so that Chuck can get his dream tattoo done. Barkley didn’t see that coming. However, Shaq forced Chuck to get it done, and Chuck had to lie down on the couch to get his back tattooed.

Kenny Smith, Ernie Johnson, however, started to point out that families watch the programme, and the tattooing was called off. Seems like the Chuckster is determined to get the hilarious tattoo as he yet again reminded his friends of the bizarre tattoo wish.
