Rodman’s wife sounded off on his family life
In the documentary, Rodman’s wife at that time, Michelle Moyer, provided some candid details of her then-husband as a family man and a father. Moyer stated how she had emphasized to Rodman the importance of a family. Moreover, she added, “Your kids have no idea who you are. No idea who you are!”
In addition, Moyer also stated that she didn’t want her kids to look up to Rodman the way he was living life at that time. Hence, she believed that this comeback would change his mindset, alongside making him more family oriented.
However, Moyer’s wish didn’t get fulfilled. Rodman did return to basketball for three more years in the minor league of the American Basketball Association from 2003 to 2006. But he was not able to secure a team in the major leagues aka the NBA.

Dennis Rodman got released from the Chicago Bulls shortly after their championship era ended. The organization released him in 1999, after which he got picked by the Los Angeles Lakers. However, his tenure with the Lakers was short.
Thereafter, in the same year, he joined the Dallas Mavericks. But there also he could stay for more than one year after clashes with the team and NBA officials.

Therefore, he remained without any team for almost three years. However, he tried to make a comeback in the league, which ultimately didn’t happen. Finally, he wrapped up his career in 2006.
