During Draymond Green‘s initial days in the league, JJ Redick believed for Green to be a subpar player. He tried to wrap his head around the value the Warriors’ power forward brought to the Golden State Warriors. He said, “Man, he?s the worst rotation player in the league”. However, as history shows, Redick and several others were wrong about the four-time NBA All-Star. Green was instrumental in the success of the Warriors, a team that drafted him into the league. To add to his list of skills on the court, Draymond is loyal, confident, and passionate about his craft. With this in mind, ending his career with the Warriors would be a dream. However, the possibility of this occurring is bleak and Green, who is rumored to join LeBron James, is aware of the same.

He said, “We tend to get into the mindset of someone owes us something because of what we’ve accomplished. You’d be an idiot to walk around feeling that way”.?He added that by feeling like this, “you are setting yourself up for heartbreak”. Green emphasized understanding the reality of the future. He knows that teams are looking to invest in youngsters.
“Quite frankly, the writing’s on the wall."
