Shaquille O’Neal was a superstar during his time in the NBA. Being one of the most feared players, the ‘Big Aristotle’ would decimate defenders in the paint and give fans plenty of noteworthy moments. But since he stepped away from the sport, these noteworthy moments have come in other forms.
Shaq has appeared in movies, advertisements, and video covers. He has even had gigs as a DJ and a wrestler. All of these have given fans plenty of enjoyable moments.
Due to his dynamic personality, Shaq has even gone on to various shows as a guest. One of these is shows is ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, where back in Sept of 2021 he appeared on show and the two discussed a bet that Shaq had lost and had not yet paid up.

Shaq’s Huge One-On-One Basketball Bet with Jimmy Kimmel
On the show, when Kimmel asked Shaq about which NFL team he supports, Shaq responded by saying that he supported the Dallas Cowboys. Thereafter, he went on to make a bet with Jimmy Kimmel involving the Dallas Cowboys’ matchup that night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
As per the bet, if Shaq lost, he said he’d walk naked for 2 blocks the next time he appeared on the show. This then reminded Jimmy of another bet the two had previously – a bet that was based on basketball.
“But we also played one-on-one basketball once, and you told me that if I made any shots, you would come on the show naked, and I made a shot immediately,” said Kimmel.
“No, you didn’t. I don’t remember that,” said Shaq with a big smile.
This is one of those many moments where Shaq has tickled the funny bones of so many fans all over the world, including that of Jimmy Kimmel himself. It truly was some good banter between the two.
Shaquille O’Neal Dominance in the NBA
Despite Shaq having lost a one-on-one basketball bet to Jimmy Kimmel, he was a force to be reckoned with in the league. The man is a 15-time All-Star, 4 time NBA champion, 2 time NBA scoring champion, MVP of the 1999-00 regular season, and a 3-time finals MVP. To top it off, the ‘Big Aristotle’ was inducted into the Basketball Hall Of Fame in 2016.
